Kevin and Pamela Beswick recently photographed the new condominium community The Villas of Ada, Ada, Michigan - an Epcon Community. We photographed high quality interiors and exteriors of two new model homes as well as the ribbon cutting opening for the new community.

Dan Stephan builds beautiful and innovative homes with meticulous attention to detail. The deep, rich color palette used for his website sets a tone of sophistication that sets his business apart. Deep charcoal grays, warm and rich pumpkin spice, chocolate taupe and cream all compliment the photographs displayed in the gallery of homes Flash slideshow.

The logo shape creates an identity for Dan Stephan Builders that matches his style of building with the strong use of curved arched doorways. In fact, the idea came from his own home's front arched entry door. The charcoal grayish gradients was intended to simulate burnished pewter for outdoor sculpture/signage.

Most importantly, the strong use of specific keywords and meta tags will help increase search engine optimization and good ranking.

Kevin and Pam will be traveling Tuesday-Wednesday January 27-28, 2009 to photograph the newly renovated Diamond Lounge at Harrah's Horseshoe Hammond Casino near Chicago. Tuesday night they will be photographing architectural overalls of the Diamond Lounge area as well as close-up woodworking.

Wednesday we will be photographing close-up detail shots showcasing the beautiful woodwork for Indianapolis Woodworking, Inc. in the following casino areas:

New Custom Website and Logo Design

We are pleased to introduce The Bluff Banquet and Conference Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan's new custom website and logo design project has been completed and is now live at:

The Bluff's new site has been given a fresh, contemporary color palette that compliments photographs taken by Kevin Beswick of a wedding reception event at The Bluff. Fresh young colors attract brides in soft pastels of turquoise, pink and soft green that suggests banquet food freshness. The beautiful ambience of The Bluff is showcased in three Flash slideshows and photographs showcasing amenities. Also included are downloadable PDF's we designed of a coffeetable book and mini-menu brochure to increase viral marketing.

The logo letters shape hint at an upward hill or bluff with a soaring bird and the blue color suggests sky overhead and water below the bluff. The navigation buttons were designed to show the bird upon mouse rollover for a wow factor that is not only fun but as a breadcrumb trail during site navigation.

The various menus and Friday Night Specials were placed on separate pages so the client could monitor which menus receive the most web traffic hits. Convenient maps and driving instructions were added for convenience as well.

Keywords, meta tags, page titles and various other Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques were applied throughout the new site. In comparison to the outdated old site, the new website provides a better representation of the many beautiful amenities and delicious menu items that The Bluff Banquet and Conference Center has been know for over twenty years.

The product shoot featured some of their products in an environmental setting in the Healthcare industry. Specific products photographed included Keyboard Systems, Monitor Arms, Task Lighting, Seating, and Ergo Tools such as Humanscale's award-winning Switch Mouse.

Additional architectural interiors will be photographed of three-level 90,000 square foot performance facility, The Venue which was designed by renowned Montreal-based Scéno Plus as well as the Asian Gaming Area which features classic rose wood-stained cabinets with wood crafted in China with exquisite detail and appropriate feng shui.

University of Michigan - Women's Softball Field

This Southern Bleacher project for U of M showcases handicap accessible ramps, bleachers and durable fold-up theatre-style seating for the Women's Softball Field. Since 1946, Southern Bleacher has set the standard of excellence in the design and manufacturing of sports stadiums, bleachers and entertainment venues.

Southern Bleacher's products are specified for professional baseball diamonds and soccer fields, college campuses, school districts, NASCAR tracks and rodeo arenas across the United States.

The Rockwell Lake Lodge

Kevin & Pamela Beswick photographed the Rockwell Lodge, G.H. Gordon Biological Station, Hillsdale College in Cadillac, MI. The lodge sits on Hillsdale College's 685-acre G.H. Gordon Biological Station surrounded by walking trails, pristine forests and lake. The lodge offers ten guest suites each with its own balcony, fireplace and kitchenette in a beautifully appointed cabin with wooden beams, hardwood floors, leather chairs and a stone fireplace in the Great Room overlooking the lake, deck and firepit. The lodge also features a Conference Room, Lake View Dining Room and four Plymouth Village Cabins with a living room, bedroom and large bath plus kitchenette.

Kevin Beswick and the team of People Places & Things Photographics has been chosen to photograph the largest floating facility in the United States for clients Pepper Construction (Chicago, IL) with Harrahis Entertainment, Inc.

The 350,000 sq. ft. Casino and Convention Center involves six barges to transport the structural steel frame components to the Hammond Marina in northern Indiana near Chicago, IL.

Features:
108,000 s.f. main gaming floor, world-class poker room and Asian gaming room, 650-seat Buffet, Diamond Lounge, Seven Stars Lounge and two feature bars.

Convention Center features a mainstage with capacity for 4,000 people standing room, 2,500 theatre-style seating, and banquet facilities for 1,500 and a sports viewing area and nightlife.

The project includes the renovation and expansion of the Jack Binion's Steakhouse, parking garage and pavilion renovation.

Texas Photography Projects June-July 2008

Kevin and Pamela Beswick of People Places & Things Photographics recently travelled to the great state of Texas from mid June-July. Based out of the greater Austin area (Georgetown) we photographed projects in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and the resort area of Galveston, Texas. We also were able to enjoy San Antonio's beautiful Riverwalk while one of our daughters took a Summer Intensive program at Ballet Austin (an aspiring ballet dancer).
