Kevin Beswick, Commercial Architectural Photographer of People Places & Things Photographics is honored to have photographed Rockford Construction Company's LEED-certified projects. Two of those projects hold the distinction for world firsts. Ada's Keystone Community (Church) and Grand Rapids Art Museum is the first LEED-certified new construction art museum. Other LEED projects Kevin Beswick photographed for client Rockford Construction include St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (Rectory), Blue Cross Blue Shield building in downtown Grand Rapids, MI and the restored D.A. Blodgett Home for Children as well as the Alano Club restoration.
People Places & Things Photographics valued client Rockford Construction was ranked by the Engineering News-Record as Michigan's largest 'green' contractor based on LEED building revenues in 2006. We are honored to have captured these important LEED-certified projects for our client. Two of these projects were long-term photo projects from 1-3 years requiring ongoing twice-monthly construction progress one including time-lapse documentation as well as final architectural interiors and exteriors.
We enjoy the mix of photo projects ranging from demolition to construction progress requiring us to wear construction hats and capture the workers progress in all weather elements from hot to cold. We especially enjoy shooting the final completed architectural images as we try to capture the architect's vision for the completed building. This is our true passion - architectural interiors and exteriors is our speciality...telling the whole story from room to room.
